Bob's last deployment prose

These are the collected e-mails that Bob sent to his sister Terri during his last deployment to Afghanistan that turned into Iraq (when he was there he was the top NCO PJ, i.e., he was the HMFIC). It's well worth the long download and long read to get an idea of what it was like for him back then and what it's like for the tens of thousands of troops deployed there now in the GWOT.
